Shipping Terms from ASA Clearance Auctions

ASA Clearance Auctions offers an in-house post & packing service for clients unable to collect in person.

We assess all parcels individually. Depending on the object ASA Clearance Auctions may recommend using a courier of your choice. However as part of our service we will attempt to find the ost cost effective way to ship the items.We reserve the right not to post items if we deem unfit, or think it will break.

ASA Clearance Auctions are not professional packers or shippers but do our utmost to pack items to ensure goods arrive safely. However, ASA Clearance Auctions will not be held responsible for making any claim.

ASA Clearance Auctions Post and Pack service will attract a flat fee of £8 irrespective of the size and type of item purchased.

The postage cost will be assessed and given to the purchaser after payment for item has been received.ASA Clearance Auctions do not insure unless specifically requested to do so. Items can be insured, with the understanding, customers fully accept the T's & C's by the chosen delivery company.

If we feel items are too fragile/ likely to break we recommend using your chosen courier to pack and insure properly.

Some items, due to nature, size, weight, cannot be posted - in which case you may suggest a courier or arrange pick up from our storage location. Couriers can generally insure items which we cannot.

For Overseas shipping we assess items individually depending on worth, item, country being sent to. We will declare a LOW VALUE if you ask to avoid import charges.ALL OVERSEAS CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO EMAIL A DISCLAIMER ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR BREAKAGE OR LOSS OF PARCELS. ASA Clearance Auctions WILL NOT PAY OUT FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST PARCELS SENT ABROAD - posted entirely at your own risk.

We remind UK clients certain items CANNOT BE INSURED. If your item cannot be insured with our postage, you are welcome to arrange your own courier to collect, or use your chosen courier.
Terms and Conditions
1 Whilst the Proprietors of ASA Clearance Auctions make every effort to ensure the accuracy of their catalogue description of any lot & any images published, it is the Bidders’ responsibility to ensure they are content with the quality, content, condition & authenticity of any lots prior to bidding. Any statements made regarding any items, either in the catalogue or orally, must be deemed as being opinion only & do not imply any warranties or representations of fact by the Proprietors of ASA Clearance Auctions .
2. ASA Clearance Auctions has absolute discretion to divide any lot, combine any two or more lots or to withdraw any lot or lots from sale, to refuse bids, regulate bidding, to cancel the sale without giving any notice or reason.
3. ASA Clearance Auctions digital platform will bid on behalf of bidders up to the maximum indicated by the bidder.
4, Unless previously instructed by the Private Vendors, ASA Clearance Auctions may sell items without reserve if they see fit.
5. The highest bidder shall be the buyer, except in the case of a dispute. If a dispute arises, it shall be settled at ASA Clearance Auctions discretion or offered for resale.
6. Bids will ONLY be accepted from registered buyers who have supplied their Mob phone number and postcode.
7. By placing a bid, each buyer acknowledges that they have satisfied themsleves fully by inspection of the goods offered prior to bidding. Electrical or petrol driven items are sold on an “as seen” basis; NO WARRANTIES given or implied.
8. Each lot shall remain ASA Clearance Auctions risk until the fall of the hammer, where risk is transferred to the Buyer; items to remain within the saleroom until paid for in full. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
9. Legal title will not pass until lots are paid for in full. Payment must be made by bank transfer. We do NOT accept card payments.
10. Lots MUST be paid for within 24hrs of the sale completion. Collection must be arranged within 24hrs of the sale & removed from the collection site at the Buyers risk & expense within 7 days of auction completion. For any lots uncollected by this time, the Buyer shall incur charges of £5 +VAT per lot per day for storage until removed. Failure to collect any lots within 14 days & settle any storage fees will incur a ban from all future sales & the items will be forfeited; no refunds will be made & the items will be considered settlement of outstanding fees.

13.Hammer fees of 20% of the purchase price will be added to all lots purchased.
14. If any person makes a successful bid & fails to pay for that item within 24 hours of the auction, then that person will be barred from future sales.
15. Any person not adhering to our terms will be barred from from all Abandoned Storage Platforms
